– The stage dimensions for this regional competition are 10.4m x 10.85m and will include either a white wall or black back curtain as well as a front blue curtain (if necessary).

– The auditorium (21m x 16m) and will include individual chairing on the floor.

– Lighting will consist of full white stage wash, blackout, fade, centre 5 spot as well as primary colour stage washes. This can be utilised on the day as per coaches’ requirements.

– There is ample parking on site and a basic canteen will be offered throughout the competition.

    Entries open at 9.00am on March 1st, 2020 and will close at midnight on March 15th, 2020 via www.mystage.net.au

    Please search for ‘2020 QLD Team Solo Competition’.

    Solos are to be entered individually and duos entered by one person per duo only.

    Please ensure correct date of birth for all entrants.

    Please note that NO late entries will be accepted.

    Registration Desk
    All coaches and participants will be required to sign in at the registration desk on arrival at the competition. This desk will be located backstage outside the dressing rooms and this is where critique sheets may be collected at the conclusion of presentation.

  • LIGHTING/MUSIC

    Music is to be uploaded in mp3 format by coaches onto mystage by midnight on March 31st, 2020.
    There will be NO DLPs available for use at this competition.

    No lighting sheets will be required as basic lighting may be called on the day via the technician.

    These prompts will include a center special spot, color stage washes and fade/snap blackout.

    The stage is 10.4m wide and 10.85m from front of stage to white cyc.

    A black back curtain or white cyc is available for use.

  • TICKETING

    Ticketing will be available for purchase with cash or card at the door.

    An eftpos machine will be available for use.

  • VENUE

    Nerang Bicentennial Community Centre is located at: 833 Southport Nerang Rd, Nerang QLD and is approx. 14kms (20 min drive) from the middle of Broadbeach on the Gold Coast.

    Car: From M1 Southbound or Northbound take exit 69.

    Parking: The Centre has parking available on site and locally.

    Food: A full canteen will be on offer for the duration of the competition.
