2027 Intermediate State Team Audition Registration
Event information
Calisthenics Queensland is thrilled to begin accepting registrations for 2027 Intermediate age pupils to audition for the 2027 Intermediate State Team which will travel to Canberra to compete in the ACF 2027 Nationals in July 2027.
ACF have announced a significant change to the structure of Nationals, moving from the traditional single-division format to a two-tier structure comprising Diamond Tier and Emerald Tier.
In previous years, all State Teams competed together in one division, however the new structure has been designed to increase participation opportunities, provide clearer development pathways, and support competitive parity across Australia.
The Diamond Tier continues the tradition of showcasing each State's performers and coaches in a highly skilled representative environment whilst the Emerald Tier provides an additional pathway for developing teams and emerging performers to experience national competition while continuing their growth and progression.
CQ is committed to building a strong and sustainable State Team program and the focus is to field an Intermediate team in the Diamond Tier.
CQ recognises the importance of providing developmental opportunities that support athlete, coach and team growth for the future of our sport and we encourage all interested participants to audition.
Auditioning for and being part of the state team offers a range of incredible benefits, making it a rewarding experience for every participant. Eligible pupils have received an invitation to audition email with an information booklet outlining all information regarding state team.
